DB guided me through the process of buying my first condo in Santa Monica and provided me with top notch service throughout the process. I met him at an open house he was hosting and immediately he stood out from the other realtors I had encountered. Rather than immediately pressuring me into buying a property, DB took the time to educate me about the home buying process, sending me a how-to book on buying real estate and sitting down with me to discuss the type of property I was looking for and a detailed market analysis specific to the 10 block radius within which I wanted to purchase my first property. He found me a gorgeous recently remodeled condo with nearly everything I wanted --two bedrooms, two baths, new stainless steel appliances, an in-unit washer and dryer, a walk-in closet, hardwood floors, an open kitchen, bike storage and parking. The only thing missing was my second parking spot and we managed to negotiate a credit and really cute breakfast bar stools to compensate for the lack of a second parking spot! Most importantly, I was the second person to see the unit -- due to DB's diligence -- so I didn't have to engage in a bidding war to buy the place of my dreams. Considering the limited real estate in Santa Monica, I'm pretty sure that saved me a few thousand dollars. Since I hired DB, I've recommended him to several friends and colleagues and I will continue to do so. If you're looking for an excellent realtor, DB's your man!

I have known DB for almost 10 years, and can highly recommend him to anyone looking to buy or sell a home. After meeting him at an open house, DB helped us purchase our first home. As first time buyers, it was so nice to have someone who could walk us through the ins and outs of purchasing in a super competitive market. 8 years later, right before a pandemic knocked n our front door, we decided to sell.
